EXPERIENCED TRADESMEN

Job Type: Full Time
Shift: M-F, 40+ hours/week (expect to work overtime as required)

Pay Range: Competitive wages for Trade/Industrial Work will start from $25/Hour or higher based on knowledge and demonstrated work experience.
Job Summary
Rozell Industries is seeking highly motivated Tradesmen for multiple positions to join our team. The spots referenced above have immediate openings with Concrete Foremen/Carpenters/Masons requiring at least 3-5 years of experience with commensurate pay rates; Laborers do not require experience, however, must come with a strong work-ethic and be willing to learn multiple parts of construction. Specific knowledge of site/civil, mechanical, and structural related work and activities for general construction services a plus. Must have own transportation (reliable) and be able to work within reasonable distance from Queensbury, NY offices. In most cases, work is outside and may result in working in inclement weather at times.

Responsibilities:
Foreman Specific must be to:
- Read blueprints and other documents, to assist in determining material and equipment needs.
- Forecast ahead to plan for man-power planning/scheduling.
- Assist Project Management with maintaining customer relationships.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure proper field paperwork is being submitted
General Positions:
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work in both interior and exterior conditions
- Familiarity and ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, or light machinery under supervision.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift heavy objects (often up to 50 pounds).
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules and practices
Qualifications:
- General knowledge of construction materials and equipment within the industry.
- Ability to closely collaborate with others and follow direction.
- Understanding of general workflow to ensure information and coordination with others including Project Management is complete, accurate and well organized.

Job Summary
Rozell Industries has an immediate opening for an AISC Quality Control Manager. As our AISC Quality Control Manager, you will lead our quality documentation and compliance processes. Whether you’re already certified or eager to learn, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our projects meet American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) standards. Your attention to detail will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and keep our projects moving smoothly from shop floor to final inspection.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and update all AISC quality control documentation, including inspection reports, material certifications, and weld logs.
- Assist in preparing for AISC audits and customer inspections.
- Verify that materials, fabrication, and assembly meet project specifications and AISC requirements.
- Coordinate with shop supervisors, welders, and engineers to resolve quality issues quickly.
- Use measurement tools, inspection equipment, and digital systems to record and track quality data.
- Familiarity with steel production, reading blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings (or willingness to learn).
- Strong computer skills for data entry, document management, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with shop and office teams.
- A proactive mindset—able to spot potential issues before they become problems.

Job Summary
ROZELL is seeking a highly motivated Estimator/Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for handling estimates, proposals, and related documents, as well as the project management of these and other projects with other team members. Specific knowledge of site/civil, mechanical, and structural related work and activities for general construction services.
Responsibilities
- Material take-offs for isometric drawings and P&IDs for applications such as piping, mechanical etc.
- Preparing work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Analyze blueprints and other documents, to prepare time, cost, material and labor estimates.
- Completing and submitting estimates and material orders
- Maintaining a directory of suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors
- Project set-up and schedule of value preparation
- Man-power planning/scheduling (MS Project/P6 experience a plus)
- Project submittals and deliverables
- Managing customer relationships
Qualifications
- Estimating experience (3-5 years) as an estimator in the construction field
- Thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints
- General knowledge of construction materials, equipment and standard bid practices within the industry
- Ability to closely collaborate with other project members
- Understanding of process flow to ensure information and coordination with Project Management is complete, accurate and well organized.
- Proficient or familiar with estimating software (Sage Estimating) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes as needed
- Fit, align, and weld metal components and structures according to specifications
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and structural requirements
- Cut, grind, and finish welded materials as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on metal structures and equipment
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project completion
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder (minimum 2-5 years preferred)
